These bars are an easy one-bowl recipe filled with banana, oats, and chocolate in every bite!

1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce (see notes)
1/4 cup maple syrup (or honey)
1 egg
1/4 cup coconut sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup quick oats (see notes)
1/3 cup oat flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup chocolate chips (dairy free, if needed)
The most delicious snack or breakfast treat! Also perfect for pre-run fuel. These are going on my regular recipe rotation! I added a few more chocolate chips just for fun 🙂
