Tracy Greenstein, MS, RD
Ten years ago I was the healthiest person I knew. My identity centered around working out, eating yummy food, and always being on the go.The last thing on my mind was bloating, inflammation, acne, or fatigue.
Then I got off birth control and suddenly my body no longer felt like mine. I was taking naps in the hallway during classes, looked six months pregnant after every meal, gained 20 pounds even though my eating stayed the same, lost my period, went days without pooping, and felt like a stranger in my own body. So I did what you’re supposed to do. I went to the doctors—yes, plural—where I received an autoimmune diagnosis and advice for how to “manage it.”
The advice worked, until it didn’t. I was once again losing my hair, dealing with crippling stomach pain, and struggling just to make it through the day. I saw more specialists and was told the same thing over and over: go back on birth control, stress less, eat less, work out more, and take medication.
I built Truly Well Nutrition for all the women who have been gaslit into believing their weird, persistent, and painful symptoms are somehow a normal part of being a woman. They’re not. And I’d be honored to help you get back on the same page with your body so you can feel good again.

Then I found a functional dietitian who changed my life. She ran the right labs and identified the root cause of my symptoms, helping put my condition into remission without medication or restrictive dieting. Finally, I got my body and life back, and had the tools to keep it that way.
Hey there, I’m Tracy Greenstein, MS, RD, Truly Well Nutrition's Founder.
Not a single person stopped to investigate why this was happening in the first place. Why would a healthy, fit woman suddenly develop such extreme symptoms even though she was doing everything right?

foundation first:
Your body needs the right environment before it can heal. We build that first.
My philosophy
Empowerment and validation:
A lot of women come to me after years of doubting themselves and being dismissed. That stops here.
Personalized support:
Protocols aren’t one-size-fits-all. Everything we do is built around your labs, your life, and what your body needs right now.
Root-cause care:
Instead of managing symptoms, I work to identify what’s causing them in the first place. If we can address the cause, we can stop the symptoms.

What stands out most about Tracy is how available and supportive she is. Unlike many practitioners I’ve seen in the past, who often spend only a few minutes with patients, she takes the time to truly listen, investigate, and look for potential root causes. If you’ve felt dismissed, rushed, or stuck with other practitioners, working with her is a very different experience.”
"Working with her is a very different experience.

I cannot recommend Tracy enough. She has a wealth of knowledge, but what truly sets her apart is how deeply she cares about her clients. Having gone through her own health journey and experienced what it's like to not feel at home in your own body, she brings a level of empathy and understanding that is hard to find. I've referred several friends to her, and she has quite literally changed their lives. If you're looking for someone who listens, educates, and genuinely wants to help you feel your best, you're in the right hands."
"She brings a level of empathy and understanding that’s hard to find.

A conventional dietitian typically follows standard dietary guidelines and focuses on managing symptoms through dietary changes. A functional dietitian takes a root-cause approach, using lab testing and food as medicine to understand why your body is responding the way it is. That means looking beyond what you're eating to consider your stress, sleep, routines, environment, hormones, digestion, and health history together. The goal isn't to hand you a meal plan and send you on your way. It's to find what's actually driving your symptoms and address that directly.
